Autumn Rains..

Hello Hello..

Autumn is here for real and the darkness reminds us of the coming Christmas. Before that we have been busy building our 'cave' for the hibernation of winter. I have been adding a few kilos to help survive the winter and Madam Broadley has been making a house a home.

Master Broadley has been ignoring the darkness and decided that 5am is still the best time to wake up. Therefore, it has also become our time to 'rise and shine' despite there being little shining in our rising!

Have a look at the photos.. Master Broadley has touched his first snow and the parents have bought a new bed.. the excitement never ends for us suburbians.. 'In the weekday, everday, we are happiest'

Over and out..

The tides of life

The tides of life continue and here we find ourselves again in the Autumn of another year. The leaves indicating the last dance of of the season before Mother Nature hibernates for a couple of frozen months. We enjoy the colour and change mindful of the time ahead. Time to rent a few DVDs and light some candles and put on some extra fat for the winter survival.

Happily our lives are still filled with the warmth of out No.1 idol, baby Broadley. He shines light into our hearts through his changes and more regular smiles. Smiles that make up for late nights, baby spew and nappy changing.

The simple things in life are sometimes the most enjoyable, thus the photos for you to enjoy. A simple sunday afternoon walk enjoying God's display for us in perfect unity.

Sunday = Washing

Well Sunday .. again..

Another great action packed weekend... Here is a quick summary for those of us with attention deficits..

Friday - Jonathan was possessed with screaming all day. Lisa looked liked death warmed up when I got home. Jonno and I went for a 2 hour walk and Lisa had a rest to calm the hand shaking:-) I went out with work for "team-building" dinner.

Saturday - Lunch with Malin, Fredde, Maria, Andreas , Johan & Nina.. great to catch up with the gang from the London days.. Later met Jan and Jonas at Pitches.. Jonno screamed.. Went to Jonas and Jenny..admired the curtains, watched Lule Hockey loose against HV71.. Came home and died of tiredness..

Sunday - Up at 5;45am with the little man.. Went to church.. late as usual despite being up so early (No matter how much we try, we are always late) Came home and did washing and cleaning ALL afternoon.

Hence the photo.. We have now been washing non-stop for 6 hours with two machines! Dare I say, it is not MY stuff.. hint hint.. I blame a child who changes his clothes 50 times a day.. too tired to type more... over and out..

Friday Evening and a few beers..

All I can say us "T.G.F"!!!

There is nothing better than Fridays. I am lucky enough to get away from work early on Fridays and enjoy a longer weekend. Today I managed to get down to the gym after work and remind myself why I should go more often. This week I managed to put my neck out (again) at the gym and felt like E.T for a couple of days! Poor me..

Later Lisa and Jonno came by the gym and we went out to IKEA to get Jonno a baby chair so that he can start eating at the grown-ups table. We were even happy to see that there was a massive print of our favourite painting by Gustav Klimt 'The Kiss', which is now proudly hanging in our master lounge room:-)

Coming home, Jonno and I downed a few beers. Being a responsible parent, Jonno could only have lite beer! He is not allowed normal beer till at least he is 3 years old! (jokes)

Anyway, we are looking forward to a weekend without any plans.. I am hoping for a long sleep-in tomorrow till at least 6am!

Have a good weekend from us... Hope you like the pics..

Due to growing demand..

We have had a few more requests for photos... surprisingly not of Master Broadley... but rather his son!!

In particular we send these with love and kisses to Maria in USA from Jonathan...

Master Broadley is back in the HOUSE..

Dear Fans,

I know it has been a while since I wrote to you all. There are lots of reasons for not writing, but none good enough to deny you the news from the House of Broadley. All I can do is thank you all for your patience. Enough said, this last year has been a busy one...

First of all there has been an addition to the Broadley clan, namely (Master) Jonathan Edward Broadley, joined our household on 25th of May 2008. I surely need not add that he was a welcome addition to the Broadley's and since day one has graced our lives with his smiles and nappy changing.

Coming in at a whopping 4.4kg, Jonathan was a big, healthy boy who has set about using his strong will to shape us into the parents he wants us to be. For that we have become better parents and, dare I say it, better human beings. I often think that it is ironic that us adults use words, money, promises and our strategic planning to get our way in life, yet a small baby just shows his love, joy, smiles, tribulations for all to see, and changes our lives forever.

Anyway, I guess that I will stop there, before I get really deep on the subject and just simply sum up by saying. What a year, what a ride and what an amazing baby boy we have.

I guess the pictures will tell the rest.

New Police Make the Streets Safe..

Swedish Police Trained by British Police..

After recent publicity from the latest 'Hot Fuzz' film from England, Swedish Police are to be trained in 'community policing'. Two experts have been sent to the local area to ensure that ice-cream headaches are avoided before high speed pursuits. We have our exclusive photos here on House of Broadley!!
