Almost on holidays.. YEAH BABY!!

Yes, Christmas is almost upon and there is a frantic hive of activity to take us there..

Finishing off a busy term at work, painting a new room and also being a parent to an active son.

Here is a little update of the last two weekends..

We now have a bedroom to sleep in :-) Thanks to Jan for helping us so much with spare time and love of precision wallpapering.

Jonathan got his first haircut!! If we let it grow any longer he was in danger of being classified as a stray child.

Here in Örebro there has been a lot of change, new job, new house, new term and a new preschool (for Mr J(.

One Birthday, one Funeral, one Wedding and a house.

On the 25th of May we celebrated Jonathan's first birthday!! A great milestone for us all and a real moment of celebration.

During May, after a long time of illness, Grandpa Cook passed away at the ripe age of 92 years old. He had lived a long and full life and will be greatly missed by us all. He was an example for us all to follow.

Later in May, we were able to go back to beloved Norway and celebrate the wedding of Gareth and Åsne. They are great friends of ours and it is exciting to see them get married.

Lastly, surprisingly we have also bought a house in Örebro. All of a sudden our son walking around the apartment has reminded us that we needed a bigger place!! Our new house is a semi-detached one level house around 3km from the city centre. Obviously being our first house, we absolutely adore it!!
